THE LEGENDARY CIRCLE CLUB EXPANDS WITH TRAFFORD CENTRE CHAMPAGNE BAR

Manchester’s exclusive 24-hour private member’s club, The Circle Club, is expanding by opening a champagne and cocktail bar in the Trafford Centre.

The 45-seat white marble bar will take pride of place in the Italian Galleries on the first floor of the Orient food court and will open this Summer.

It will have an extensive 50-strong cocktail menu, including both classic and contemporary drinks priced from £4.50 and will serve 21 champagnes ranging from £40 (Moet and Chandon) to £350 (Armand De Brignac Ace of Spades), with glasses starting from £4.95.

Open from noon to midnight, except Sundays (when it closes at 6pm) it will also serve cocktail snacks including oysters, caviar, sharing platters, ice-creams, sorbets, cakes and sweets.

“We have been looking at ways to expand the Circle brand and this is a fantastic opportunity,” said Craig Ince, Managing Director.

“With the footfall of the Trafford Centre and our brand, we believe it is a winning combination and one that we are looking to roll out throughout the country. We have already been approached by other centres and see this as a concept which will work nationwide.”

They will be interviewing staff for positions ranging from Assistant Manager and Supervisor to  cocktail waitresses and waiters on Thursday,  June 9 from 1pm at The Circle Club, based in the grade 11 listed Barton Arcade, off Deansgate in Manchester City Centre.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, it expanded the original basement club to launch the VIP Inner Circle in 2008 and the Kitchen bar restaurant in 2009 and is a regular haunt of celebrities, including footballers, soap and movie stars.

“The last decade has been tough for many in the leisure industry but for us it has been one of expansion and growth. We can bring that experience and know-how to this venture and we look forward to another 10 years of growth for the Circle brand,” added Craig.

The new bar, which will be called the Circle 360, has been designed by award-winning interior designer Paul Astill Associates who designed the Inner Circle’s iconic seven-deadly sins themed room.

The centrepiece will be a stunning, almost heart shaped white marble bar, with bar-stool seating blended with back-lit stainless steel cut outs.

“Paul has created a stunning design concept that will provide the perfect oasis for shoppers who want to unwind in style,” said Craig.
